Chalk Art Festival kicks off a colorful summer in Larimer Square. Over 200 artists will transform Larimer Square into works of art for the annual Denver Chalk Arts Festival this weekend. Now in its ninth year, the Denver Chalk Art Festival on Larimer Square, but it is my first year to apply and I got selected as one of the 200 artist. It was a huge challenge for me, taking in consideration I have never worked with soft pastels or done chalk art before
